The Saucony Ride 16 is here and it's awesome!! We put Saucony's latest update to the test with our store employee Chamberlain, local high school track athletes Sarah and Didi, and local track coaches Wynston and Mickey. Here's what they had to say:
The shoes are great for walking, and have a lot of power while running. They’re firm and fit, so they will not fall off during your hardcore runs. Nice push back while striding, keeping your momentum going. - Sarah
They were very light and comfortable to walk around in all day and also good for my easy runs! These shoes were a little more firm than I expected, but my feet felt very supported and the shoes had a nice rock to them. - Didi
Power is right! The initial fit of the Ride 16 is definitely secure. After a few interval runs in them, they are as aggressive as they are cushioned and comfortable. The Saucony Ride 16 is a great running shoe that delivers a comfortable and responsive ride. As a neutral shoe, I found that it provides a balanced and stable platform that has been great for daily training runs and long runs. One of the best features I found within the shoe is its FORMFIT upper that conforms to your foot for that snug and secure fit while still being breathable. Another great feature of the Ride 16 is its traction pattern that provides excellent grip on a variety of surfaces such as trail, road and track. - Mickey
